Aran Lodge - Bantry

The views were fine, but Google Maps had me lost for ages.

A quiet location and I would stay here again. High quality and quiet hotel, fits for one night in Bantry. Special thanks to efficient and helpful staff for making my stay a real good experience.

A gem with amazing views

My stay at Aran Lodge was highlighted by the fine views of the garden and bay, complemented by a variety of delicious breakfast options and the warmth of the hosts, Deirdre and Joe.

The only downside was some noise from other guests at times, which slightly disrupted the tranquility. The hosts were quick to ensure a quiet night when needed.

While I appreciated the lovely decor, the noise insulation was quite poor, leading to disturbances from neighboring rooms. I found navigating to the lodge quite frustrating due to inaccurate directions on Google Maps, resulting in some unnecessary detours. The shower pressure was also disappointingly low .

Aran lodge is ideally situated for exploring west cork and co kerry. Deirdre, the host, provided amazing recommendations for local attractions. My room was super clean, and the breakfast options were plentiful and delicious, including homemade scones that were a highlight.

The room was spacious and impeccably clean, complete with a amazing sea view. Breakfast was a lavish feast, offering fresh fruit, variety of cereals, and a magnificent full Irish breakfast. Deirdre even provided us with local recommendations that added to our experience!

Deirdre was an really good host who provided amazing local recommendations. Each breakfast was a good feast, offering various options, and the cleanliness of the room was perfect. It would be great if the shower had a bit more water pressure, but overall, I can't wait to return!

What a charming stay! The room was super clean and snug. I was treated to fine views. I even got the best local tips from my fabulous host!

But darling, the shower was more like a little sprinkle than a proper rinse! And the wifi? Slow enough to make a tortoise look speedy!
